The McCann Family Did NOT Participate in the Netflix Doc

From the beginning, Madeleine McCann’s story was an international sensation. Tabloids ran roughshod with stories in a thousand different directions. ABC would see a viewership surge of more than 2 million people when premiering their episode on the McCann’s.  Likely due to all the coverage, the McCann’s opted to stay away from the Netflix documentary. The McCann’s stated, “We did not see and still do not see how this program will help the search for Madeleine.”
