Apparently, Joe Exotic had planned on opening a zoo in Dallas, and he was going to hire a former hitman to take care of the job. According to the reports, the man was a former ‘bone collector’ with a Mexican gang based out of Dallas. Having given the life up, the hitman was ready to help Joe on the straight-and-narrow.

What’s interesting about this story is that it could have been the seed that led to the murder-for-hire plot that imprisoned Joe.
